This year's Christmas Light were another sparkling success as craft stalls and mini funfair joined in on the act.
Visitor numbers were up (again) on last year, as this annual event, now in its 8th year, attracted families from all over Purley.
The lights were switched on by lights co-ordinator, Rev Pam Bryan. This was Pam's last year before she moves away from the area to takeover a church in Leicestershire. Pam has been the key person behind the Purley Christmas Lights from the day it started. It was fitting that she took on the role of switching them on before she leaves.
